We are not an insurance agency

K.Actuary is not an insurance agency, broker or insurer, and does not sell, solicit or negotiate insurance. We do not recommend a particular insurer or policy to you. Nothing on this site is an offer of insurance.

Where prices come from

Prices are estimates recomputed from rate filings that insurers submit to state insurance regulators, and checked against observed prices. They may differ from the price an insurer offers you. Coverage is subject to the policy's terms, conditions and the insurer's underwriting.

How we make money

Comparing prices on K.Actuary is free. We plan to offer data services to insurers and other businesses. If we receive compensation that could affect which products or prices you see, or how they are ordered, we will say so on this page and next to the affected results. Compensation will not change a filed price we show.

Insurer names and trademarks

Insurer and product names are used only to identify whose filing a price comes from. All trademarks belong to their owners. No affiliation with, or endorsement by, any insurer is implied.

Data sources

Public rate filings (most through SERFF, operated by the NAIC), state regulator publications and price surveys, and prices observed on public insurer and marketplace websites. Each price identifies its filing.
